Description

SC51F3832/16 is an 8-bit MCU integrated with LCD driver and charge pump. It bases on SC51 core with built-in 32K/16K-byte MTP and 2K-byte RAM and 1K or 256-byte E2, integrates 16MHz high precision RCH and 32.768KHz high precision RCL, rail-to-rail analog comparator,10-bit ADC with maximum 13-ch external channels, flexible clock system, rich timer resource and communication interface, which designed for various control applications. It features 1.8V~3.6V operating voltage range, low display current in IDLE mode and ultra-low stop current, which makes it well suitable for the battery-powered systems.

8-bit SC51 CPU

  • Compatible with MCS51 instruction set, dual DPTR; support software reset instruction.

  • Improved instruction structure, the execution time of 90% instructions is two to four clock cycles.

On-chip Memory

  • 32K/16K*8 MTP

  • Data retention time>10 years @85°C.

  • Erase times>100.

  • 2K-byte RAM.

  • 1K or 256-byte E2

  • Data retention time>10 years @85°C.

  • Erase times>1,000,000.

  • Support In-System-Program (ISP), only 5 pins are needed (including VDD/VSS).

Power supply and Reset

  • Operation voltage: VDD=1.8V~3.6V.

  • Built-In Power-On-Reset(POR).

  • Built-In Low-Voltage-Reset(LVR)with 4 levels selectable:1.8V, 1.9V, 2.2V, 2.5V.

  • Built-In Low-Voltage-Detect(LVD)with 16 levels selectable:1.8V,1.9V,2.0V,2.1V,2.2V,2.3V,2.4V,2.5V,2.6V,2.7V, 2.8V,2.9V,3.0V,3.1V,3.2V,3.3V

  • Built-in watchdog(WDT).

System clock

  • Built-in 32KHz low precision RCL

  • Built-in 32KHz high precision HARCL with ±1%@VDD=1.8~3.6V, TA=-10~50°C

  • Built-in 16MHz high precision RCH with ±1%@VDD=1.8~3.6V, TA=-10~50°C. After Clock divide-by-two,it can be used as a system clock source or directly as a PWM module counting clock source.

  • Support external 1~8MHz high frequency crystal oscillator or external 32.768KHz low frequency crystal oscillator, multiplexed with one group of pin, configured by information area.

  • Support stop-vibration detection for external 32.768KHz oscillator

  • Pre-scale factors of system clock: 8/4/2/1

Input/Output

  • Support up to 55 I/O ports

  • Built-in high current transistor: 200mA/250mA @ VDD=3.0V, VOL=0.3V

  • P0/P1/P2/P3/P4/P9/P10 ports support keyboard interrupt wake-up function, interrupt polarity selectable.

  • 4-ch external interrupt, interrupt polarity selectable.

Timer

  • 4-ch 16-bit Timers(T0,T1,T4,T5),compatible with traditional MCS51.

  • T0 supports square wave output, T1 supports PWM output.

  • 1-ch 16-bit T2 with capture function

  • 1-ch 8-bit carrier modulation and demodulation (CRT)

  • 1-ch 8-level FIFO envelope generator T168, combining with CRT timer can generate arbitrary infrared waveform, which can greatly reduce CPU power.

  • 1-ch 12-bit PWM generator with arbitrary settable period and duty cycle

  • 1-ch 16-bit WT timer which can generate buzzer output with 4 kinds of frequency: 8K/4K/2K/1KHz.

Communication port

  • 1-ch UART. 

  • 1-ch SPI.

Analog peripheral

  • 1-ch 10-bit ADC

  • Up to 13 external channels

  • Built-in Temperature sensor

  • 1-ch rail-to-rail analog comparator(ACMP)

  • Built-in 16-level resistor divider reference voltage.

  • The built-in reference voltage can be selected as resistor divider voltage source.

  • Built-in LCD driver

  • Support up to 8 COM: 8X33, 6X35, 5X36, 4X37

  • 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 bias selectable

  • Support single point flickering and full points flickering.

  • Support resistance division mode, and resistive LCD contrast is adjustable by 8-level, drive capacities is selectable by 3-level, with fast charging mode.

  • Support capacitor split mode.

  • Support internal charge pump mode, with built-in reference voltage is 16-level selectable: 0.95V~1.3V, 50mV by step. The max LCD drive voltage can be 3 or 4-times of reference voltage.

Operation Modes

  • Normal mode.

  • IDLE mode

  • External oscillator 32.768KHz and WT enabled, LCD set as resistance division mode: 11µA @3.0V.

  • External oscillator 32.768KHz and WT enabled, LCD set as capacitor split mode: 8µA @3.0V.

  • External oscillator 32.768KHz and WT enabled, LCD set as internal charge pump mode: 11µA @3.0V.

  • STOP mode

  • Low voltage enabled, 3uA @3.0V

  • RCL and WT enabled, timing wake-up by 0.5second, 0.7µA @3.0V.

  • All module disabled, 0.6µA @3.0V
